On-Campus housing

Dormitory (often abbreviated to Dorm), this kind of housing has a good security guarantee. The universities/colleges have done their best for the safety and daily life of students. The advantage of Dorm's proximity to the school also allows hard-working students to spend more time in the library. However, compared to off-campus rents, living in Dorm is more expensive, which means that the restrictions set by the school must be strictly followed. The inability to choose roommates on their own also makes many international students carefully consider whether they can accept cultural shock and differences in living habits with different roommates.

Off-campus apartment housing

Most of these housing are managed by real estate companies, so the students who choose this kind of listings do not need to worry too much about the maintenance of the infrastructure. The real estate company will not only clean up the rooms before the new tenants move in, but also provide free equipment maintenance and other services. For those who consider this type of housing, the biggest trouble is to purchase furniture. Apart from kitchen appliances and basic facilities, all other furniture needs to be purchased by themselves. In addition, the rental period of apartment houses most of them require a one-year lease.

Private property

Most of private property are houses. This type of housing rent is relatively cheap, and the lease period is much more flexible. Since most of these houses are taken care of by the landlord, the living experience is depending on the relationship between tenant and landlord. Enthusiastic landlords can help tenants solve many problems in their lives and even reduce rent moderately.
